Last week, I spent my last spring break ever *tears* in NYC. Everytime I go to the city it becomes more and more attractive. I spent my week exploring the busy city streets and running around meeting my favorite companies to get a taste of what life would be like when I move to the city.
Spoiler: I AM MOVING TO NYC AFTER GRADUATION (: YAY!
My boyfriend, dad and I flew out of Chicago on Tuesday and came home t o Illinois on Saturday night. It was my boyfriend Brad's first plane ride, ekkk! He loved it. After arriving at Laguardia, we checked into our chic Comfort Inn Hotel near the Financial District. We went out on Tuesday night in Chinatown and enjoyed some delicious Chinese food. Then went for drinks at a local watering hole called RPM on Broome Street. We played shuffleboard with NY brokers and a cute couple from London. My dad would say "we went too hard" that night haha!
The next two days were full of meetings and blogger meet-ups with a few pit stops at wine bars and trendy coffee houses.
We stopped for some homemade ice cream at Sundaes and Cones. They are famous for their many exotic flavors such as red bean, taro root, wasabi, black sesame and lychee. I chose lavender sorbet and creamy banana. This cute, pastel spot in the East Village was sweet as can be.
Thursday night was strictly dedicated to getting our Irish up (: My Snapchat displayed the details.

On Friday, we got up and rode the subway to Soho for some delish Italian pizza and milkshakes at the Black Tap. Although, we did not get to go to the Black Tap because the line was literally around the block. I heard about them through Glamour's Snapchat story. We did not want to wait an hour in line, so I guess I will have to get a taste of one of those crazy shakes once I move to the city.
Exploring the Time Inc. building was one of my favorites because it was on top of a new luxury mall. The guys were pretty oocupied while I was in my meeting at Time Inc. My dad and boyfriend are so sweet; they walked me to all my meetings everyday (I don't think they trust me roaming the streets by myself haha).
