A Weekend in Tobi

If you're looking for something fresh and new to wear this summer, Tobi's Summer Collection is white hot! I would know because I spent my entire weekend dressed in Tobi!

The entire brand is designed in L.A. and inspired by the beachy coasts of the area. Tobi is an online-only women’s fashion boutique. Their summer collection consists of various skater dresses, sassy body suits, crop tops, and fringed rompers. The trends this season are off the shoulder tops, lace, and solid color dresses. You can't go wrong with this collection. There is something for everyone whether you're a minimalist who strays from patterns or an innovator who wants to make a splash this summer. Here are some fun pieces from Tobi to style.

Winona Wrap Dolman Skater Dress: This particular dress comes in two colors: navy and toast. With either dress you definitely do not want to wear a cardigan. This dress is lovely without a jacket. A perfect accessory would be a floppy hat. The navy dress will go great with a white floppy hat and matching white sandals, and the toast dress will pair perfectly with a maroon floppy hat and some simple gold jewelry. Or you can dress it up for a event/ night on the town!

I wore this dress to work and then out to the Bandelettes Press event at Lovage Rooftop in Midtown. This wrap dress was great for this sleek press event.

Your Heart Shift Dress: This classy number comes in the colors plum, olive, grey, and of course black. Features of the dress include a plunging neckline and a detailed ladder trim. To style this you can pair the dress with ankle boots or knee high boots for a chic look. You can also include a pair of statement earrings. They will add a nice contrast to the solid color of the dress.

The PERFECT brunch dress! I strolled around Greenpoint in this cut-out shift dress. I was able to sip champs on spacious rooftop in style.

Anisha Midi Jumpsuit: I love jumpsuits guys and this one does not disappoint. This piece also includes a plunging neckline and a cropped wide leg. It is perfect for a casual day. To style this outfit you can wear a tasteful lace choker or a shoelace choker. Shoe wise I would suggest wearing a flat sneaker or if you're feeling fancy some strappy sandals.

This jumpsuit was perfect for my day on the run! I was able to grab a coffee a Épicerie, shop at IKEA in BK for my new Greenpoint apartment and get my nails done at Local Honey Salon. It is a fabulous throw on piece to have in your closet.
