Is your Makeup 'Green' Enough?

For the past few years people are starting to question what is really in their makeup. We all wear makeup even if it's just a bit of concealer to make your skin look better. A cult favorite Sephora recently launched a "Clean at Sephora" section. Sephora has always been one to tell their customers if a product is free of parabens or sulfates, a question many beauty-goers want answered.

Any product the is marked with the green "Clean at Sephora" seal will not contain any of the following:

- sulfates SLS and SLES

- parabens

- formaldehydes and formaldehyde-releasing agents

- phthalates

- mineral oil

- retinylpalmitate

- oxybenzone

- coal tar

- hydroquinone

- triclosan

- triclocarban

All of this means that any skin care, hair, and makeup brands with the "Clean at Sephora" seal will have less than one percent of synthetic fragrances and no undisclosed fragrances.

Sephora says, "When you spot our Clean seal, you can be sure we’ve checked that this brand’s products don’t include the ingredients you’d most like to do without... we’ll keep updating the ingredient list and adding exciting new brands as our clean movement grows."

Here are a few products that are "Clean at Sephora" sealed that y'all should definitely try!
